Skin blemish healed through Christian Science prayer

During the time when I was not a Christian Scientist, I had a blemish on my back that had been there
for about 6 months and had been bleeding for about 4 months. When I went to get a physical exam,
my primary care doctor, and later a skin specialist, said the blemish on my back looked to them like
skin cancer. A biopsy was done on it and it came back negative, but the dermatologist personally
called me to ask me to come back in for another test because the test that had been done indicated
normal skin and he knew that wasn’t what he sent in. Based on what he had seen on my back, he
felt that it would be dangerous not to have it tested again. Instead of accepting further medical testing
and treatment, I thanked the doctor, but told him I was going to rely on prayer to heal this. Then I took
a stand in my own thought and in my family for Christian Science healing. I dug out my Bible and
Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, blew off the dust, and began
studying and praying.
I realized that my situation revolved around a belief that there can be a battle between bad and good.
In the case of cancer, it's a belief in a battle between bad cells and good cells. When I realized this
false belief, denied any power to evil based on the omnipotence (all-power) of God, good, and began
praying with the ideas that are the starting point of Christian Science found on page 275 of Science
and Health I had a very quick healing. The blemish in question withered up and fell off 4 days later. As
I mentioned before this blemish had been there for 6 months before the medical diagnosis and had
been almost a constant problem during that time.
The healing came so quickly through Christian Science! During that few days of prayer and study, I
had many old and new insights into the healing power of the Christ, and about God's power and love
in my life. I certainly found what Mary Baker Eddy wrote on page 567 of Science and Health to be true.
That is, “Against Love, the dragon warreth not long, for he is killed by the divine Principle. Truth and
Love prevail against the dragon because the dragon cannot war with them. Thus endeth the conflict
between the flesh and Spirit.”
Another thing that I believe contributed to bringing about this healing for me was willingness to take
an unwavering stand for the omnipotence of God, and the power of the Christ to bring spiritual
healing; no more giving in to societies pressure to do things another way; no more experimentation
with various healing methods.
This healing took place over 10 years ago and there has not been any return of the problem
